Catedral Hill welcomes the winter season 2007 with lots of surprises and news for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy an extensive area covered with a blanket of excellent snow, and the better-equipped ski resort in South America.
Newly-incorporated lift systems in the South area access new runs and trails that meander through bushy lenga forests for you to broaden the countless sensations you will be able to experience within an unparalleled mixture of landscapes.
Only 15 minutes and a season pass to access the whole mountain is what you need to reach the highest point of Catedral Hill, either taking the South Way (using Amancay Cablecar) or the North Way (using Séxtuple Chairlift). You will be at 2,100 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy one of the most impressive views of the Andes Mountain Range and the Patagonian lakes.
From that point, we offer 600 hectares of skiable terrain, with a 960-meter slope and a wide range of options: more than 120 kilometres of clearly signalled paths and runs, and the exciting choice of off-piste skiing.
Events
The winter season promises to be intense when it comes to sports events, upcoming attractions, ski and snowboard races and demonstrations like Reef Boarder Cross & Big Air, the International Ski Week, the Carrera de la Historia (The Race of History), Professionals’ Parallel, Children’s Day Celebration, Journalists’ Race, among others.
